Dr. Fisher started a small hospital on top of Kalene Hill, that was later moved down from the hill to its present location.  The Hospital grew to be more than a 250-bed hospital.  An nursing school was also established.  But owing to lack of staff and support from the government, the hospital decreased to a 150-bed hospital, and the nursing school ceased to operate.  However, there has recently been a lot of interest in re-establishing the school.  Also, there are plans for specialist doctors to come out in 2007 to develop Kalene Mission Hospital as a central referral hospital.
