Bruce Poidevin
Director and Pilot


Bruce Poidevin, founded the Flight Service in 1993.  As Director, he has the responsibility of directing it on a day to day basis, and is responsible for the overall administration and accounting of the Flight Service.  He is accountable to the Flight Service Committee.  Bruce works together with John in Flight Bookings and Accounts, as well as a piloting.

John Loudon
Pilot and Mechanic


John Loudon, a pilot and aircraft mechanic from Michigan, formerly commended to help MAF in Tanzania, joined us in Sept. 1996 and is a tremendous asset to the work.  As Operations Manager, John oversees the operation of the Flight and Maintenance departments. He works closely together with Bruce in Accounts, Flight Scheduling and the administration of the Flight Service.  John and Bruce share the flights as pilots.

Joseph Chilambe
Chief Engineer


Joseph Chilambe, the Chief Engineer, is our full time Zambian mechanic and employee of the Flight Service since 1994.  He is responsible for the maintenance and airworthiness of the aircraft.  We are fortunate to have this fine Christian man on staff. 

James Itenda
Mechanic's Assistant


James has been working with the Flight Service for several years.  He assists Joseph as a Mechanic's Helper, as well as general maintenance and construction work.

William Zulu
Electrician


William Has recently been employed by the Flight Service. He has been volunteering his labor for the past year. He is talented in electrical work, and we hope to give him further training in aircraft maintenance.

Joseph, James and William are on a full-time contract with us. However, throughout the year, we have an average of about 15 workers, which includes: carpenters, builders, watchmen, and general helpers and cleaners.

Every weekday morning work begins at 7:00am with a time of devotions and prayer.
